So, it must be high precision, for us, we needed to just provide high-quality products based on the customer’s requirement. It was a 2pins flat bottom connector, rated voltage & current were DC 12V and 1.0A, full stroke was 1.50mm, working stroke was 1.0mm, spring force was 60gf±20% at working height, the contact resistance was 50mohm maximum, the package was Tape & Reel.

Our R&D engineer studied all requirements

The material of the plunger and the barrel was brass, and their plating was Au 3U” min over 50-100U” Ni. the material of the spring was SUS304 with stainless steel without surface treatment, and The housing was made of HTN.

The SMT/SMD connector is generally made by the riveting plunger, and plunger, and spring into a single pogo pin through an automatic crimping machine and then pressing it onto a housing. If SMT was required, a cap needed to be added to feed in & out during SMT. The barrel bottom of the SMT/SMD pogo pin connector was flat and fixed on the PCB circuit board by SMT wave solder.
